we spoke to a very inspiring Mom who shared her story. Helen Hipp . Helen is the author of two books, with a 3rd on the way- A Different Kind of Safari and Rosie and Friends: Positively Different Both children’s books are both focused on Autism and being different. They are unique books, inspired by a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Africa with her 14-year old son Ray, who has special needs. Helen presents the issue of being different from other children in a way that children can relate to and understand – how to find happiness in spite of the challenges everyone faces.
we where joined by Leslie Crowe who had started a website and spoken at ARC events. Leslie will shared how she is able to connect people in the special needs community.
